Thanks Andreas,
All's well here, I've missed a lot of VW shows myself (been hecktic), but hope it will ease off next year!
You'll have to make sure your back for Dubs by the pub then!
Have a great Christmas yourself, hope you get some more nice VW stuff to bring back with you.
Cheers,
Richard

As I haven't pulled my cluster out, can the speedo be removed and replaced, or does the whole cluster need to be?

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, and in good condition- but rather tossed in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"

When you pull the whole panel out (as in pic above) you can remove all the gauges separately to replace just one if you like.

if dubs by the pub is before april ill rebook to be there as i can only stay in aus for 2 weeks..

it would be easier to change the whole cluster in my opinion but even if you take out the speedo and tank guage(1 piece)they are just held on by 5 screws on the rear(very easy)just remember to also give the glass with the hole for the trip meter if your selling it seperatly...but your surround is RHD so the changeover for the future owner should take no more then 20 minutes...good luck with the sale...just love the grey faced speedos:thumb
