Beetle 1500 motor question
The new 1500 beetle we have bought has a rusted pre heat tube on the inlet manifold. The inlet manifold has rubber connectors halfway between the
heads and carby. The pre heat tube bolts to the heat exchangers.
I apologise for not having the exact specs on whether it is single or twin port, but that may help.
The question is -
Does anyone have a replacement inlet manifold?
or is it more economically viable to weld a new section of tube in?

i think you have a twin port manifold, most likely a 1600 engine.

Whoo hoo 1600. I knew it all looked very different in the engine bay. The question still remains in regards to the rectification of the rusted pre
heat tube.
