HELP! flat spot on take off, daily driver


my ute has a flat spot on take off and when i put my foot down it splutters then takes off.
only when i accellerate it spultters if its a bit hard on the pedal otherwise ok but i drive it all day every day i need help so i can feel ok driving home today "NOTE" i have pulled out the idle jet and theres no gunk in there

From experience fixing stuff on my type 3... check the fuel pump on the carbie(s) and your vacuum advance, if you have one.

Sorry i meant accelerator pump... i had the same problem with my car and it turned out to be that the accelerator pump wasn't pumping in enough fuel...

Had a similar problem recently, it turned out to be a vacuum leak.
