I have a pair of 32/34 Solexs off a 1.8L T4. Can I fit them on a 1600 T1? What manifolds do I need, T3? Would it be any benefit doing so? Is it a waste of time? Do I expect any performance improvement?

Dont think it would be worth the trouble finding manifolds to suit.

you might be better off trying the twin carbs from a type 3 or better still the twin kadrons. they would be far better but depends on your budget i guess
