FS: 1970 Beetle Project car - brand new paint

After paying thousands to fix my everyday driver, and loosing garage space by moving house, I need to sell my Beetle Project car.

So, once it's back from the painters (around Christmas at this stage), I'll be putting it back together and selling it on. I HATE not finishing a project, but space and $$ and simple practicality unfortunatly all point towards it's sale.

So, if anyone is interested, please let me know, either as a running car, or in bits.

This is a BRILLIANT base for further project work. As can be seen in this thread ( http://www.smonson.com/vwclub/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34 ) it's a 1970 Beetle Hardtop, which has been fully stripped of everything, all rust (although it was minimal) has been properly repaired, and it's currently being repainted in Ford Falcon XR Blood Orange / White two tone (simmilar to the pic below - but NOT the car in the pic below). It's a COMPLETE back to metal and undercoat respray. All the old paint was removed, it wasn't left underneath the new paint. The inside of the car, as well as the engine bay and boot area have been painted as well, and the inside of the wheel arches have all been painted in black chip coat. In short, it's a proper stripped car respray, not a quick job.

Will be sold as a running car, with 1500cc engine. Will have all new rubber seals. Can supply with brand new stainless steel running board, rock guards, eye brows, the works. I bought a lot of accessories ready for the project. The interior has been stripped of headlining etc, and the seats are still standard.

For a price, or questions, or more details, or anything, just contact me via U2U or email at pdrsra@gmail.com

Thanks! Be sure to tell anyone that may be interested.

It's located in Canberra ACT, and currently has rego.

Pete

NOTE: As stated above, the picture below is NOT the car I'm selling, it's simply indicitive of the paint scheme until I've got some photos of the completed paint job.

Hey fella, How about some pics of the actual car that you are selling. Not one just the same colour.

The pic above might cause some confusion. :)

Cheers!

Theres plenty of progress shots in this thread http://www.smonson.com/vwclub/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34  including some shots of the car before I started. I haven't been to the painters in a while so haven't got pics of it as it stands right now, hence no more recent pics. I'll grab some soon, but at the moment it litterally is a stripped shell painted in primer, although it's probably got some colour on it by now.

Heres the latest picture I've got...
