Where can i buy these rims from to suit bay kombi??
hey folks, im interested in getting these exsact rims for my 74 bay kombi, is there a specific combination of rims and hub caps to get??, i really
like the dished look on these ones can you get them for a late bay kombi?? if so what measurements do they come in/sizes etc?? also am wanting the
exsact tyre combination on the rims with the white stripe on them, where can i get the tyres from? do you buy the tyres with the white stripe on them
already or do you have to get insert or something?? if any one could please help me out to what sort of rims and tyres these are that would be great,
or if you know the owner of this kombi?

original rim's off your bay window. and get some early modle hub caps, like off a splitty they fit

yeah i was thinking of that but they dont look very dished look very different to those on that bus, but i will keep that in mind probly the best idea

Have your existing wheels widened by Ajax wheels in Moorabbin 9555 7737 and add whitewall inserts from Antique Tyres. You can buy whitewall tyres from
Antique but the price is out there. Antique Tyres are in Heidelberg.
Paul King owns that bus and would be happy to tell you the sizes. I'll u2u his number.

no brake cooling holes in those rims, only came on earlier beetles and i suppose busses, so they would have been wide 5 pattern, i dont think anyoens
make smoothies in the small 5 pattern

oh yeah im after the same hubcaps as on that splitty dont have to have the vw symbol on em, but would that style fit on my original stockies?? are
they called domed hubbies?? or someting else? like original splitty rims??

take a close look, the caps one that one do have the VW symbol, they all did, but the domies will fit fine on a standard bay bus rim, i will get u a
pick of my spare soon, has one of those caps on it.

sweet as man, yeah i was thinking of smooth dome hubbies with low profile tyres and a thin white band around em, and of course the rims in red.
