Skidpan Day @ Eastern Creek this Sunday - 20 spare slots 1/2 price!
Hey all,
(non-VW) Mates have been doing a few skidpan days with various car clubs/groups etc and having heaps of fun. The guy who runs it has just informed
them that he had a group of 20 people pull out on him @ the last minute for this Sunday (18th Dec) so there's now a last minute grab for spots.
Cost is usually around $200 but these 20 slots are going for the basement price of $100 ea.
The day is run by Aaron McGill of McGill Motorsport. If anyone is interested in going, or wants more information (I've given you all the info I know
of at this point), contact him on 0410 317 013.
Even if people are unable to attend this weekend due to the short notice and it's proximity to the silly season, could be a good idea for an AVW Day
Out!
If anyone is attending this weekend in their dubs, or other cars, let me know and I'll see if I can head out with the cameras again and get some
shots.
Cheers, C

Big flat, wet piece of concrete which courses get made up on using witches hats, that you then drive around. Allows for people to learn to control
their cars if traction is lost in the wet etc in a safe environment. Also allows people to loose traction in the wet on purpose and get sideways
around witches hats. Went and watched some mates last Friday night and it seems like quite a lot of fun, and also educational. All run in a very
professional and safe manner. Not a teaching course, but there are instructors available to ride in car/give you advice on learning your car and what
to do in particular situations.
