Hey, im going to do a full service this week,
Was down at supercheap auto and didnt have a clue to which, points, condenser, rotor and rotor cap to buy.

Anyone know what part numbers are for a vw and will i have to go 2 repco or auto one or something to get them?

thanx

If the "VW" you're talking about is a '76 Camper, get a "cheat sheet" at this address:

The distributor is a Bosch product so no doubt it was used on a range of cars. Hence you can get the tuneup parts at places like Repco, etc.

If you want to know the full specs of your distributor go here:

http://www.oldvolkshome.com/ignition.htm

Your best bet is to get the model number of your distributor and use that on the site. I think I needed a torch and a mirror on a stick to get the number!
