confused me...........ideas needed
howdy fellow dubbers...........
i have a 2ltr bay that doesnt want to be my friend, after any ideas, i go to kick the bus over after a few chugs it kicks.......... rev it up a little
to get the fuel flowing then........DEAD....... regardless if i revv it or just leave it it just dies, then after that it takes ages to kick then same
thing again... works better if i leave it for 15 mins.........????????? i have changed the fuel over etc, any ideas would be great,

fuel filter
fuel pump.... maybe
silicon in the fuel tank
or maybe it's the condenser on the dizzy

try an electric one

change the fuel filter (or put one in if it's missing, often the case), and put some fuel system cleaner through it. If that doesn't work, have the
carbie jets blown out and check the ignition system. I'm with Terry and Moose, sounds most like fuel.

why change to an electric pump? The mechanical ones work fine 99% of the time.
