Anyone know the prices of V8 super car tickets?

Hi all,

For xmas, even though my dad would have to wait till July to use his gift, I am wanting to purchase him tickets to the V8 super cars race in Queensland raceway (said to be on the 22 and 23 or July).

He has wanted to go for years, but been dead broke around that time with bills and all. he did go once, and he brought me and my big bro, was like when i was 4, years ago. He neva got to watch much, cause he was waiting like 3 hrs in a cue to get us lunch, Lol.

But, am wanting to forfill his great desire of going to the race in 06', and cause i have rang queensland raceway and many TicketMaster Dealers about prices, the only info i could get was that tickets could be booked from April upwards, but its too early at the moment to order/book. They said they couldn't tell me the prices, and not even from memory or from the computer from 05's v8 race. (The 5 different places i rang said the same thing)

So, if anyone has been to them recently, what price was it around? And were you in the grandstand for that price? IF anyone knows the price of pittpasses too, that owuld be good.

An avg is all i need. I don't expect many answers, cause this is going back 6 months. I just wanna give him a present he has been wanting for like a decade and a bit since we went to the race B4, something meaningful, u know.

At the Tasmanian Triple Challenge, 3 day passes with pit passes was around $110
With grandstand seating.
I think general admission was a bit less.

Keep this amount in mind and you should be sweet dude.
