Subaru turbo mods ?
what is the go with making the turbo outlet bigger ? I just machine the plate out bigger & fit a big tail pipe to it ?
I have 2&1/2 " ss tube for the turbo back , but can make this 3" for the front section .

You can do it 2 ways....make the opening like a mouth which then tapers down to a 3 inch, then weld a small piece between the turbo outlet and the
wastegate outlet. This is prevent the wastegate flow directly disturbing the turbo exhaust. The same thing can be done by haveing 2 pipes running off
the back of the plate and then have them merging about 4-6 inches off the turbo.
I bought the mouth style and cut the splitter piece from a piece of 2.5 inch pipe.
