Wide wheels or stock width? That is the question!
Ok, so i'm getting some new tyres for my notch.. i have a choice, to put them on the set of widened originals i have (15x5.5 i think) or to put them
on the stock width originals.
Whats your opinion? I can't decide. :cry

If it' a 5-lugger:
Same colour as the body with whitewalls.
Same colour as the body with a white center and whitewalls.
Black with white walls.
4 studder:
aluminium (NOT that crappy silver paint)

ive just finished putting widies (unfortunately 14inchers) on mine, ride is more absorbent, puskhes harder into corners, brakes more stably, and once
i got the tyre size sweet (195/70/14 on the rear and 175/75/14 on the front for me) she looks so sweet that people have to take a second look at the
wheels even thougth the rest of the car looks like crap. silver or black rims with caps and chrome dress rings looks great

just put 5.5 mangels on mine, with 175x65-15's all round. looking at the clearance anything wider would have been right on the guard. but i am
lowered.

Don't go too wide on a type three. Nothing looks worse than big ballloon tyres on an old dub. The tyre shops always try to talk you into wider tyres
because they've got lots- don't listen to them.....

185s don't look too fat on the front. If you get a decent set of them the difference in braking and handling over stock will be huge provided they
don't scrub.
