Caught up with "reub-revhead" in Darwin today.
G'day All,
We're in Darwin for Christmas and New Year with one of our daughters and her family and today went to see the VW boys and ran into Reuben, so went
around to his place to check out the machine, WOW!!! that thing is awsome Reub and to think it'll be Registered soon just blows me away. It's a
real credit to you!!
It was great to catch up and "meet the person", thanks for the hospitality, had a great couple of hours chatting (VWs of course).
Cheers, Ian.

Ian,
was great to meet you. Not enough VW talk up here let alone a VW scene. Am sure that when my bug is on the road it will stir up a bit of interest from
VW lovers and it may get something started.
Cheers for the compliments on my car too.
A great way to spend my birthday catching up with car nuts!

Hey Rueb,
Thanks for the call last week, good to finally chat about the toys. Just got an oval shell, going to do a body swap and weld in a split for the
rear..shall I chop it?????? Keep the aeros on the front and a custom set with small lights for the rear. Swap the b4 motor and bolt on a single vf34,
and maybe change box.
So many ideas, so many distractions!

Happy Birday Mate.
Glad to see it's coming along. Slow and steady wins the project. One more check and another month of Sundays should see mine back on the road
hopefully.
44 today - thinking if the 1600can run an aircon?
peace out.
