Mine act as side bars and stone deflectors. The front tyres used to take all the paint off the rear guards, and I had to respray the front of them with body deadener every 12 months.

Now with these side bars / deflectors it keeps virtually everything off the rear guards and they still look pretty good.

The side steps are strong enough to stand on. I got away with no top brace because I have 4 smaller braces underneath going down to the floor pan. The 2" lift kit gave the room needed for this.

and you can see the steps are the width of the front and rear guards. They are pipe frame with thin aluminium checker plate on top.

mine has a set like terrys just without the bar upto the top



You only need two tools
Wd40 if it don't move and it should
Duct tape if it move's and it shouldn't
