Kadron Problems
I am having problems with my kadron carburettors or one of them to be precise.I have recently had them cleaned as the car was sitting for a while and
there was a bit of varnish build up the carb guy also replaced both float valves and one float.I put them in the car adjusted the idle and they ran
fine for a couple of weeks. Last week i was driving and the bus started to hesitate running on three and then two cylinders. The right side carb was
flowing way too much fuel the plugs had oiled and ceased to fire. float valve is free and seems to operate ok dropped in a new set of plugs and it ran
for about a km before they stopped firing again idle adjust screw has no effect. I am running an electric fuel pump that I have run for years without
problems. Any ideas?

if you have an electric fuel pump, switch the ignition on so the pump is running but the engine isnt, and have a look down both carbs to see if the
side your having problems with is drizzling fuel into the engine, if it is replace the needle and seat.
testing 1 2 3...

Needle and seat is the float valve or something else? Iturned on the fuel pump and it started to trickle, kept going after I had turned it off. I
hadnt noticed this before as its in a bus and you cant get your head in there had to use a mirror and a light, the float valve is notstuck but I was
thinking maybe an extra washer or two might help it get a more positive shut off?

or is internally blocked , replace it again.
