The old 69 sighted in the Hawkesbury
Whilst driving around the Hawkesbury this week I spotted my previous Type 3 Notch, a 69, sold in 2000, parked on the side of the road at Freemans
Reach. It stands out as it is Birch Green with widies but with all of the early "S" inside trim. Still looks great so I hope to post some pics in
rides section when I catch up with the owner. It sure gives you a buzz when you find a vehicle which was saved from the scrapyard being used as a
daily runner and genuinely looked after.
Still has the same plates transferred from Ford so I could keep plates from 1928 Chev (NOT ORIGINALS!) which was on the Notch.

Sure know how you feel i was browsing around at
volkszone a while back and stumbled across a blue knotch in france, thought i reconized the seats, so contacted the guy who owned it and it was my old
car from 12 years ago..had her over 7 years...i got defected big time. came out with more defects than went in so took it off the
road(knowing it was going to cost a lot to get a rwc happening) and let someone from work have it, to bash around on his farm....lost contact with the
person that took it, never thought he would sell it:cussing...anyway the feller stripped it down never even found body rust, and repainted....was i
suprised, but nice to know went to a caring home afterall.....even a trip to europe heres
a pic just before mr policeman ruined my life......................
