another thing, the ignition , when turned, sometimes takes a second to turn over the car. doesnt struggle really and when it does start it idles beautifully! thinkin maybe a contact problem from battery to starter. but i thought i might throw it out there to see if anyone else has had this sort of problem!
otherwise,.... i just love this t3!!! after 12 years of air cooled only, and being quite jaded on the use of anything else,.. i am absolutley loving the comfort and running of this caravelle! bloody lovely!!!!

Josh,
Good too see you like the T3, I wouldn't go back to a Bay again after having my T3 twiny, they just drive soooo nice on a long trip.

Mirrors should be adjustable enough to flatted against the door, pull the mirror off and check the nut is not too tight on the adjustment. The starter problem might be a bad contact with the solenoid, I'm not sure though.

yeah thats what i thought too. and as for the mirrors, cant get them to fold round further as the ball section and cup will not allow it to fold flat against the car! might not be original although they look the goods! and chance i might be able to get that door card sent up or do you think its more trouble than its worth?
cheers dave!!
