Storm was awesome in Logan................Lightening and thunder at the same time. We have a metal roof and could something hitting it very
intermittently...........not sure if it was hail or gumnuts from neighbours trees, mind you, they were awfully big bangs for gumnuts. Rain was hitting
all sides of the house at the same time and boy, was it windy. Baja sat out in storm, but sons new Swift got to hide in the carport. Can't see any
new dents in the Baja, so all is good.

The storm up here did in fact hit around 11.15 pm last night....I was half way home and boy did I get a soaking, when I arrived home my wife and kids
were all standing there laughing their heads off. Today I came to work with the roof on, I just feel for the guys over Northshore camping as it belted
down here this morning as well.

i was driving home from work last nite........was ok till i dropped a workmate off at golden beach.....the it started to get really bad. i couldnt see
anything in front of me. time 2 drop of second........female.....much better looking workmate at currimundi.......most of the drive was in first and
second. pelting rain getting in thru my 40 year old seals. drove thru some nice puddles. spot welded seams bent from some nice knocks offroad letting
in sprays of water soaking my feet and filling my footwells up with H2O. then after dropping workmate number 2 off at her house.
brakes not working all that well due to my own stupidness. havent readjusted them enough since origional readjusting when new shoes were put in and so
they hadnt bedded quite enough and with a bit of water in there it was a bit hairy. drove home nice and slow with about 3 meters of visibility.
lightning struck a park next to where i was driving........then the hail started.......im glad my cars already dented. finally got home after very
scary drive and opend windows and doors and left car to dry out as best it could.
then adjusted brakes in the morning to find both lower link pin bushings which had been solid last week have now decided they are gonna loosen up
really nice like and even after adjustment arent very good........
good thing im picking up new front end on wednesday.

Hey Nick
I'm driving down to Caloundra tonight when I finish up at 11pm in the buggy, I certainly hope we don't get a storm like today in Noosa, it was
horrendous we lost power at work for 2 hours and guests still came down to complain as if it was our fault!:duh

lol yeah people are idiots......i had one douche bag come to the bar tonite and ask for a xxxx stubbie so i walk to the fridge and he says to me. make
it a cold one this time.
so i tell him they all come from the same fridge. (from a refridgerated stock room. to a fridge in the bar....theres no room for warming up) anyway
the fella tells me not to be a smart arse and i explain to him im not being one im being serious. he pays and i offer him a stubbie cooler and he just
ignores me and walks away. prick.
anyway.....back to the topic.
we had some decent rain today while i was at work. parked nose down in the carpark and the water rose in the holllow up past the bearing covers on the
front drums. needless to say my brakes were shit again on the ride home lol. im definatly getting discs for the new front end im buying.
hope its alrite for u on the trip up....the worst of it seems to be gone now. if u get stuck anywhere my mobile is 0439737762 but then u prolly wont
read this before u go.
