Well today I got my engineer signoff....

Just gotta get my Motor Vehicle Registry sign off now...which will be next month.

top stuff, look out for a guy driving prolly the only convertable silvia up there, hes keen to see "this amazing wrx powered chopped roof, 1piece front end hot bug" reckons it sounds awesome, wish i still lived there, got any custom plates planned for it by any chance? or have they gone up from the whopping 70bux for them by now.

$140 for plates now.... haven't really narrowed down the plate search....really want a small 3 character one...which limits it!

mmmmmmmm unlimited speed limit most of the way, and only about 4 corners! :P go 180 then drop 2 70 thru towns, if u call them that, feels like ur walking again. :cry i want unlimited speed thing here dammit

They'll be gone before we know it. They're also talking of introducing a demerit points system for our drivers licence too. Give it a couple of years and it will be hard to register anything modified like my bug.

Well if Reub makes the trip so will I!

As for those de-restricted speed limits.... dam I can't imagine holding a vw at speed (160-180+) for an extended period of time. Over the 1/4 is fine, but you don't encounter pot holes on a drag strip.

Actually I can imagine it, but it would involve regular stops to freshen up the underwear. At least Reubs car will probably have air conditioning by then!

Congrats again on passing engineering dude!
