Baja's finished
And sold.
Well, The completion of the baja was so close.
But the time came and the offer was made, so its now moved on to a new owner.
I had the erge to build a baja, so i set about looking for a suitable beast for the job.
SAX and Suzzie on this forum had a neat little 70 model that had recieved a shunt in the bum and a smack in the nose. Perfect baja project i thought,
so the deal was done and ventured off to build tha baja.
After getting it home i inspecting it a little closer, we found that the engine had been forced forward resulting in the gearbox being pushed forward.
So that was the first task
The front gearbox mount was bent back into postition and suport welded onto it for strength just incase.
The car was bought minus engine, so a 1600tp was sorced from a 71 super bug and put in the baja to be.
after a busy day, we achived the cutting of the rear end, mounting of the rear guards and fitting of the new donk.
the end result after that day was this.

The baja got put on the side for a while as a few things where sorted out.
In the last month or 2 she has been pulled back out of the shed, front end was finished, and the old girl recieved a lick of paint.
Then she was off to a mates workshop, where he made up a rear cage.
The car then sat on the front lawn for a few weeks and a young fella spotted it and asked if it was for sale. deal was struck and the old girl has now
changed hands.
Hopefully she should be on the road in the next 2 weeks
The finished product ready to be picked up by new owner.
