Beach Buggy Run - 25-26Feb 06
Beach Buggy Run - Double Island Overnight
The Manx Club will be holding a Beach Run on 25 / 26 Feb 2006. We will be meeting at the BP Super centre at 7.30 am on the Saturday and cruising up to
Double Island where we will camp overnight on the beach and then head back on the Sunday Arvo.
Aim to get out and have a hoot in this great QLD Weather of our, as well as meeting and greeting like minded Buggy and Baja enthusiasts.
Cost for the weekend will be the $3.50 camping per person and the $5.00 barge fare. Add to that fuel and water and you have a great weekend.
Everyone is welcome regardless of what you drive.

Well all myself, Brad and his wife Jen had a great day today up at Double Isl ,BUT to all those that complain that the Manx Club does,nt do anything
well even when we do run events you dont show up, SO STOP BLOODY COMPLAINING and come along and have some fun.
Don't let body work get in the way of real suspension travel

Had a great trip, report to follow.
You will all be pleased to know that:
No one broke down
No one got left behind
No one complained about where we were going
Everyone got a good feed at the Pub

That green manx was a real neat buggy that I saw up at Dubs, although it was out on the service road.

Photo was taken on the Rainbow Side of Leshes track. Was up there from Thursday to Sunday. Sitting under the xxxx tent sucking tap beer. Awesome to
see a few volkies cruz up the beach, saw 3 other buggies think red amd orange coloured. Weather was windy and beach full of blue bottles.

I was up there last weekend in my kombi, and the beach was nowhere near as eroded as that......:o
