Aftermarket EFI kits?
I've been out of the VW scene for a No of years and I was wondering if there are any good aftremarket EFI kits out there to convert a type 1 motor
from twin webers to EFI.
Any thoughts.

Neither of these kits use a single throttle body. It is widely accepted that for a street car a single TB design is far better than any quad TB design
(look similar to twin carbies). And the CBPerformance ECU is petty prehistoric.
There you will find all sorts of really good info. such as designing your plenum and runners. Some believe that the quad TB is a better way to go.
Read, read and read and learn heaps as you go along.
There are a couple of really good threads here about home-made EFI systems, using mostly 2nd hand stuff off Holden Camiras of all things! Do a search
and you'll find them.
