1600 slow to start when wet/humid
have had car recently tuned up/etc driving great, but have noted a few times when humidity is high or car gets even a bit wet that takes awhile for
car to start...anything i can do?

Hmm.. I had this problem. I used to live in a very moist area. What would happen is the moisture from fog/rain/humidity would get into the distributor
assembly between the cap and the dizzy body. Because there is no seal this happens quite easily.
I just lived with it.
There could also be some moisture arcing out your HT wires somewehere else too.
What was touched and replaced during the tuneup?
If at first you don't succeed. Build, build again.

this was happening prior to the tune up, just the reg stuff, oil, he knew about the problem, was also stalling out at low rpms, doesnt do that now

did he replace the distributor cap?

moisture can affected points i think, one reason why so many use electronic triggering instead of points...
