scanning slides into computer

I have a few (very few) colour slides of our original '54 beetle taken in the early '60's, it would be great to post them up, but the attachment for scanner I think costs megabucks, is anybody in Sydney able to do it for me ?

Please, I need drivers side window regulator (winder mechanism) for my '54 http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l266/Kombikim/avatar1.jpg
