Fires in VIC
Anyone affected, or know of anyone affected by them?
My uncle is near Anakie (Geelong way) and he's staying at his property, but my aunt evacuated. Have just heard on the radio up to 20 homes have been
lost in Anakie and the town is devastated by the fire, but I'm yet to find out if my uncle's place is ok. Bit of a worry.
Hope no-one here is near any fires, there's too many burning.

That's terrible! I hope your Uncle is ok, make sure you keep us updated.
Luckily I don't know anyone affected. I hope everyone else is ok and out of harms way too.

a guy i work with is in the CFA for geelong area... he left geelong 930pm sunday night and got home 9am monday... then came to work till 430pm..

Heard there's 400 fires in Victoria right now, and 4 of them aren't under control. Just 4! How good is that? Our firey's rock!!
