removing and then installing seats Type 3
Hey there,
I have found a P.I.M.P. pair of front seats to go in my type 3 fastback, and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on removing my old ones and
installing new ones.

Right at the front. Push the seat til almost where it stops. Get a long screw driver and push down the little tab on the tunnel side. Give the seat
another push and off it comes. Akward if you don't have a friend.

pull the seat back a bit, sit on it and look down at the top of the rails the seat slides on.(tunnel side)
theres like a tab that sticks up on top of the rail at an angle and catches on the seat base as it slides forward.
use a screw driver to push the tab down as you slide the seat forward again .
whaala, i think

Ok I have run into three problems....
1. my seats aren't moving back or forward
2. the P.I.M.P. seats I found have been sold, ( mind you this is my own fault for not buying them sooner )
3. I still can't seem to find the tab thing I'm supposed to push down with a screwdriver
So I'm going to give the seats ANOTHER good soak of wd40 and then try and get them moving.
