Bargain on ebay?

Wonder how much it will go for?

Not mine , don't know the seller.

This 1971 Volkwagen Kombi van is mechanically in excellent condition. The engine has been fully rebuilt on 16/5/03 and it runs perfectly. The body of the van is also in goodcondition except for the sliding door which opens and closes but the running gear needs replacing. There is minor rust and dents but nothing to wory about on an origional van of this age. The only other thing is it needs a new ignition swith as it is currently been wired to a make shift switch on the dash. This does not effect the ignition but for a roadworthy you will need to replace this. It will cost around $220.00. Apart from these minor things every thing else works perfectly. There is plenty of room in the back of the van for a bed/mattress making it a great campervan. The kombi's rego ran out on 4/4/05 and is currently unregistered. It also has a set of luggage racks which come with it. This would make a great van for travelling around Australia - mechanically there are no problems and it is very reliable. It is totally origional down to the keys and the petrol cap! Viewing no problem! Obviously - pick up only!
