There's a place on the way to the city on the hurstville line that you can see from the train that sells them. Thinks its around Kogarah.

There are heaps of places in the phone book that will sell or rent you one.
Then you just need to move it.
I was quoted $300 recently to pickup and transport one across Sydney.
