new bug finished!
hey, this is the finised product of my 1969 vw beetle. its got a 1500cc single port engine in it. its been about a year in the making. put an
extractor system on it, painted inside and out, put hotwire rims on it, and replaced just about every rubber, seal and gasket on it. plus a lot of
other odds and ends.
im stoked with the end result :P [img][/img]

Are you sure it's a 69 model? Front guards are wrong and I couldn't see the fuel filler flap either. Looking good though.

haha, yeh, its a 69. i put pre '67 guards on it. i love the old style headlights and tail lights, but the 69 body was the best one i could find, so i
had to do a few modifications :P
the fuel filler caps there, its just a bit dark in that photo.
theres a few progress shots here if anyones interested... http://www.geocities.com/jezzaj87/
