Ref e-mail re template. Also, you may have to fill the original screw holes as they may be outside the rubber seal line.

I own a 69 type 3 convertible, it too has the wrap-around fron indicators. The cost for the rubber seals is rather expensive from what I have found
($110ea). for what reason I have no idea, but they do look cool

Are they the amber long narrow lenses?
I think there were clear ones too....??
I was always trying to figure out which were the fully imported 1500 early type 3s...
Never did work it out...
The early 1500S with high compression engine, twin carbs
plus a unique interior in cloth looked really great...
but I think they just had the round amber front blinkers...
the German cloth in the seats mostly was destroyed by Our Sun....
they were really neat cars though....
there was one at Valla a couple of years ago...
in perfect condition.... cloth seats etc.... perfect..
It was a Notchback, sedan or halfback...
Were the wrap around amber front blinkers only used on Australian assembled 1500s..??
Fastbacks only??
Were the lenses made by hella in Germany??
or Australia??

yeah early cars had bullets (61-63) and then wrap arounds came in as the 'S' spec, where the 'N' models still had the bullets (which i like
best!).... |
