Hi
I use Penrite HPR30 in the engine and Castrol 75/90 gear oil in the geabox.
Hope this helps

Do a search on this topic, it's been exhaustedly covered.
I use Castrol GTX2 or GTX3 in the engine (any good 20W-50 will do, ie: not that stuff you get for $7 for 5L) and I use Penrite GL4 80-85 gearbox oil.
Use the GL4 rated, not the GL5 as there's a chance the GL5 may corrode the brass/bronze componants in ya gearbox...

There is little chance that GL-5 will corrode more than GL-4. The type of additives are normally the same, but there is more for GL-5. If GL-5
corrodes, so will GL-4.
GL-5 is better for "harder use than GL-4, and much better for the diff.
80-85 may be too light for a Kombi. 80W-90 0r 75W-90. If diff or box is worn, go slightly heavier. |

Ends up on the driveway in pools long before it's time to change.
