Car transport from Perth to Sydney, who should I use??
Which transport company is the best to use to bring vehicles from Perth to Sydney?? TNT has quoted $620 per car. Does this sound OK?
Any recommendations from someone who has used a car carrier company???
Cheers

I've been quoted $800 delivered depot to door in Melbourne so that's not too bad for Sydney. Remember that they are backloading from Perth to Sydney
so it's cheaper than the other way.

Mate , I transported 5 ford GT three years back to Melbourne from Perth , thats the best price you will get via road ?
My wifes car went via rail , it was very rusty with the brake dust all over it , I had to sell it in the end as it looked like Humptys beast going
past my screen .
Looking for that special lady : PM me for coffee & cake

Its a commercial vehicle (and its not that light!) so I would guess it would I would guess it would be close to its actual weight!.... Maybe Bill's
register would have some answers? Or your bro.... But with a 1916 in the back I guess it would move along a bit.... But those bullgears would howl
something crazy! Could you flat tow it?.... Not strictly legal, but it sure would cut down on weight! Of cause there is the issue of a car trailer....
you can't hire them here in Perth any longer.... Most of the hire places have taken them off the list, for legal issues....

Is it just the hire places or some other "problem"?

Some prick sued and won the case.... Coates Hire I think it was, had to pay out bigtime... It seems the dick loaded up the trailer (problably
incorrectly or over loaded!) , had an accident and blamed the hire company... So now its geting hard to get trailers and very soon nobody will have
them.... I think Rocko Hire is the only mob that has them these day....
The only option is to buy your own and look after it! Im not even sure if you would be aloud to build one becuase of the legal ramifications!

We could just tow a trailer over from Sydney... but that would mean taking a car from Sydney to Perth and back again, but without a trailer for the
return journey. Hang on... just use THAT car to tow the 2nd buggy..or sell the tow car over there... For Sale: 1998 VT Commodore with tow bar, 8
months rego, good condition $6500. Or we could bring two trailers over and use the Country Buggy to tow the Commodore home.. with the.. we need
another tow car... Hang on.. use the Commodore to tow the 2nd trailer with the first Country Buggy with.. umm..
and.. a trailer on a Buggy and a...
why did it have to be two bloody Country Buggies?!

And Humpty, the silence is deafening. How about some KO details to get the Register above 250 vehicles.
BTW, 1916cc or not the official towing capacity of a CB is 1760 lbs or 800kg as detailed in the Sales Brochure.Sorry about the Commodore.

Hey Bill... I did send you some info years ago for one of our fist ones.... But have neglected to add anymore..... I have just had a look at your
register for the first time in many years and I think you may have it registered as the "Fremantle" one. Unfortunately I dont know many of the
owners of the others.... I do personnally know 4 of the owners.... But the rest are ones i've seen over the years... Must see if I can at least track
down the numbers on the 2 we have and Kasey's Monster CB (I think Kasey has one we sold him also), Sam Longleys one, the two that are in Bill West's
family and the one thats in Bayswater and there is also another I see around here from time to time... You have one thats in 'Willagee' and one
thats from 'Bindoon'.... Both of these are the ones that Craig Torrens has just bought. Im sure Craig will get the KO's as soon as he has them in
is hot little hands....There are a few others, but I haven't seen them for a while.
Ill keep an eye out for ya!
