thanks Laura, if you look closely, the Hertz ad above that Sam made up is actually done from your photo from Hanging Rock.

You should be able to cruise on the Sat night.... afterall, it is a Club event! :P (I assume that's what you mean about the permit?)
If you need a shield though, my PBB would be happy to help... she likes the Hertz Bug!

Hertz,
Word of advise. I know the permit you speak of. And with all the attention the cars would get it really is not worth the risk. Lets just look at a
small scenareo where you hit a pedestrean. While I do not wish this on anyone it means that you will not be covered as your permit finished at
7pm.... This will mean that you will need to pay all bills for the medical side of things for the accident. This can amount to multi 10s of thousand
of dollars. (friend was hit on bicycle at 20km/h (he was doing approx 50) his bill came to $75,000 something TAC footed as the person was registered.
Really it is unwise to do so. Wife's car is on the same permit and I am working like crazy to get this finished. Really while it would be a shame
to not have it along (both wifies and yours) it is far better to wait miss displaying and tag along as a spectator and supporter. I am still not sure
whether I can get teh car there yet (work commitment) so I cannot tell you how disapointed she will be too, but I am planning to atleast help her get
ther to see it. Might need to be cruising in our chrysler..
Cheers
T
PS: Car does look awesome by the why.. !
