Lost a rear swaybar bolt that attaches to the lower shock mount. Just took a work mate for a spin. He was holding on and smiling big time. He said i

What if i throw a brick?
Just been for another drive round the streets. It's great to drive and the brakes are just what every aircooled needs. Only issue i have now is the
alternator is not charging, so i will get that rebuilt. I went to a local VW parts supplier on Northside of Brisbane and they don't have bosch
alternators only China ones, having not seen one before i immediately noticed a bushing had fallen out. So i said thanks but no thanks. Anyone know
a brilliant Auto electrician on the northside thats cool?
Engine is just getting better and better with each drive.

Vintage speed shifter is great has given me leg room back and is taller so shifting is a breeze. Can sit comfortably in it now.

Well the bug is settling in nicely the only complaint is the exhaust is a little loud only cause i keep driving flat out in it. Will take for a drive
this arvy and test out the reworked Whitleline fron swaybar mounts they just hung down too low. I made new brackets and installed them reverse to the
original design to get clearance back to front suspension. New alternator should be here thursday. Will also change break in oil to joe gibbs hr4
15-50.
