Hearing about him from you Black Math I did some research and he is a very, very interesting person and very cool. Took a major part in the battle of
the Bulge and the defence of Berlin but was not a member of the Nazi party, like Rommel who he served with in the Afrika Korp and as far as I can
remember was well treated and respected by the allies at the end of the war because of the humane and honorable way he fought and led his men. Very
cool considering I am distantly related to Black Math and therefore also his grand uncle. I love history!:thumb:bounce |
