Hey whats the story with the missing bumpers from this bug. Do you NSW or VIC guys get away with it when running your bugs without bumpers?

In QLD you'd get a fine before you made it out the driveway...

Cheers,

Ian.

turbo daily driver

How daily is this daily driver ?. There are no plates and I doubt whether he could get his decklid shut. This looks very similar to a kit offerd by turbo city in the US. They did a feature on it in the US mags. Have you got any info.?

Speedster356 your engine looks sweet by the way. I am currently in the stages of building a 1914. Trying to do it right but on a budget.(More chance of winning lotto I think, staying within budget that is).

Any problems or hints you could share would be great.
Keep up the good work.

are we suposed to have bumpers by law in QLD, I have been running without any for about 2 years on the back and 6 onths on the front without any problems and have been pulled over by the boys in blue before ( we won't go into that, but the exa has respect for bugs now:D) without any drama.

The thing is running rich at the bottom end at the moment, but still looks to have plenty of speed. The water injection still needs to be hooked up. Young James is having fun.......

are u running an intercooler pete?

draw thru carb turbos.... are good if ur on a budget.

its kinda funny to see so many big dollar turbo engines in the states with a draw thru turbo setup... i mean its not teh 80's!

With the turbo in the engine bay , with no intercooler i'd like to see how it runs on a 30deg day :)

I know that car!

didnt know he put a beast in it though!

Looks like he is a better mechanic than a panel beater !

The bog on the rear was smoothed with a grout trowel! :D:D

The paint is actually quite nice - the body prep - d'oh!
