1993 Mazda Astina SP. Cruise, all electrics, tint,1.8 DOHC,
New timing belt, Front tyres, Screen. External duco ok except for some stone chips, and a scrape on the front bumper where someone hit it in a carpark. Car goes like a rocket, and is very reliable. 205000 kms, due to regular trips between Melbourne and Brisbane. Rego till Oct 06.Asking around $5500 to $6000. To fund kombi revamp.

I had a VR6 for a while, the economy was terrific on the highway - less than 10l / 100klms but around town and in traffic it would average about 15L / 100klms, sometimes as much as 16 or 17

I am a bit of a leadfoot though...

It was a nice car although it had a persistent problem that was very hard to diagnose - on hot days it did not like to accelerate, the hotter the day the worse it got

also i found the suspension a bit too firm for our crap roads - hit some bumps mid-corner at speed and it went all over the place, usually into oncoming traffic - it was ok if you knew the roads but otherwise it could be very entertaining!

Thanks guys for the feedback, i guess its not too bad if the worse is 15L/100km. Who doesn't have a heavy foot when he is driving a VR6? hehe........

Thanks for the offer YeahBad but i am after a VR6 MK3 Golf.

Cheers!

There is a Seat Ibiza with a VR6 in it which makes an unusual combo, on ebay at present.
