Search function

When using the search function and a list of threads come up you cant open a thread, browse it then return to ur search results... meaning you have to run the search again which i imagine would hammer the server... Its annoying and most likely using up a fair bit of the servers bandwidth...

or is this only happening to me?

hope this feedback helps... other wise the site is awsome!! keep up the good work!

I've just tried repro'ing and I can't do so. What browser do you use, and do you have any "privacy" or "security' software on there? The search function uses a Javascript redirect to send you to the next page. Often "security" software tries to block some Javascript functions from working.

I used the search function on looking for 1776's. I used forfox and asked it to open the new thread of interest in a new tab by right clicking. Was a very fast and efficient way to read a lot quickly. Most was unrealated to what I wanted to know unfortunately.

The alternative to this I suppose is if your a blue 'e' supporter then right click and open in a new window. Same same really.
