Have a couple here but they would need re-covering. I had some re-covered a few yars back and although they had slightly different "pimples" on the vynil they looked ok. I'll have a look tonight and see what I have. I think there are a couple of rears as well.

Hang on! White and chrome??? If it's a 63 it will have the long armrests in grey from the standard model or black from the 1500S.

Are these the ones Volkspower is after? If so and you can get them re-covered in Melbourne they are yours (NO! Not the ones in the photo!!) There is the full set of front and rear.

Hi Adam. Do you know the guy who's after them? How's the Melbourne scene going? Are you coming up this way at Easter?

arm rests

1500S,I have the long black ones in my '67 TS fastback - but the arm rests in my early cars ('63 S & '64 notches) are curved & round with chrome strip (Red and white). So which came first ??? Did they start with the long ones and have a break ?? or do europe and aussie ones differ ?? Like to know anyone?. I'll stick a photo up.

Dyno. Yes, it is a genuine German built 1500s from 64 manufacture. The sea blue is the original colour. I added the pearl white roof. Note that the join lines are slightly different to the original two tone lines. It is more like the OZ paint lines of the 64-65 S and I thought it looked better at the time. Maybe I'll change it one day!

David. The early (first) notch and S/B had the long armrests (one piece) and continued to 1965 with the German 1500S. The single carb German built notch and S/B vehicles only went to 1963 here so that's where the long armrests ceased on these "standard" models. The F/B of 66 on to ???? had the three piece plastic (body in two pieces plus a padded top on the rear section of it) long armrest with the aluminium trim strip along it. The rear rest of the F/B had the same aluminium trim along it.

Notches and S/B vehicles of 66 on had the short handle/armrest. ALL OZ BUILT VEHICLES (64 on) had the short type fitted.

Hope I've got it all right!
