non-stock brake question

ok so i just got me a disc brake kit installed, now my mechanic says its a kit from some guy in qld, involving superbug discs, adaptors, and mazda calipers of some form. they tend to rattle a little and man its annoying. apparently they should have bedded in and stopped that so i believe i may have glazed them. main question is, for future reference and possible looking for anti rattle springs, does anyone know what kind of mazda brakes these are? i read the numbers stamped into them, and in the casting is the number 2L-8532, and stamped in nearby is 7810. anyone got any ideas?

Glazed?? Nah!
More than likely the anti-rattle shims/springs/blah are not fitted and there is possibly some excess clearence between the calipers and the pads.

I would only suggest asking your mechanic. If he supplied and/or fitted them, he should have at the very least, made some enquiry as to what clobber he was fitting. Sheesh!
What happens if you need to do a sudden pad change (for whatever reason).

Its quite an annoying and time consuming taskt to go thru the Bendix/Ferodo/blah catalogues at your local and (hopefully) friendly ABS/Repco/Sparco brake joint and physically search out the different Mazda calipers/pads available and then phisically compare the current pads you have with the actual sized drawings in the catalogue!
