Anyone know where this Hebmuller is in Australia these day
This is in Australia. I think Brooky spares used to own it. Anyone know it's where abouts?

Yep, 'Australian VW Power' magazine did a 'feature' on Heb # 17 in '89 or '90, I think. I remember inspecting this car at the old Beetle
Wreckers in Brookvale back then...

I thought I recognised it from an old magazine. I haven't the slightest clue of its whereabouts nowadays though.

Graham Lee's used to own it. Not sure if Doddy has got it - I'll ask him next time I'm in his workshop. Steve Muller would know where it is.

The one in the Aussie VW Power magazine isnt the same as the one Brooky owned.
The Melbourne one was sold to a guy in Japan, and the other one that Brooky owned is still here in Aussie.

This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.

Glad its still here.... yeah, Dave, the Aussie VW Power one was the Brookvale/Lees car... It was shot out the front of thier yard and it was on
display inside the showroom for some time... i crawled all over it when getting bits for my project...

well amazingly the right vw powers were near the top of my pile
this white one #17 was is in issue 10 aug/sep 1990 and heb #12 is in issue 6 dec/jan 1990
#12 was the first one in aus brought over in 88 a guy called guenter draude bought it over and was gonna start making replicas dont know if he ever
did
there was that resurection panels mob in vic doing it for a while
#17 has not changed a bit since it first arrived here over 16 years ago cept the taillights and rims have been changed and someone has removed the
towel rails off the bumpers

Heb #12 is now in California - or it was by 1990. It is pictured in 'Classic Volkswagens' book by Colin Burnham
