looks like it used a MK1 golf front grille with headlights.

and possibly a 1303 windscreen.

long nose looks pretty ugly though and is impractical for offroad.

might make a nice street buggy with some wheels and paint and get rid of that bullbar.....

i actually quite like the front end, is it maybe from a passat? could do with some tweaking on the sides to make it all match up, but looks pretty good i recon.

It's a bit too car like for my taste, but it's a buggy and it should be on the road to be enjoyed. When driving it you wouldn't notice such things.
