F S.. 73 super bug + 70 1500
1) 73 Super bug, has minimal rust, good interior. and a fairly straight body. to good to wreck ( to me anyway )

2) 70 -- 1500. It has no engine or trans...
Otherwise it's not to bad-- once a much loved car...

hi,
sorry not trying to be a smart arse but the blue bug is a 68-70 model
the 2 vent decklid says its a 70 but that is a 68/69 colour but its been repsrayed so it may have had a colour change
check the 3rd number of the vin if its a 68 or a 69 it will be 8 or 9 if its a 70 it will b 0

If it has had a respray it was a complete body off respray, as it seems like a factory job....

L came later.
easiest way to tell them apart is that the L has a curved windscreen and the S has a flat screen.....well almost flat.
s bugs have 3 bolt struts and l bugs have 2 bolt stuts.
