wiper prob(they go past the rest spot)
hi all
just fitted my wipers back on the bay and when i tested them they go accross fine but return way past the rest spot(off the windscreen down the
front)then back up to the original rest spot.
hope that makes sence
anyone know why???

bob you will need to disconnect the rotor arm from the wiper motor allow the motor to park then refit the rotor arm to the motor in park spot..make
sense...oh yer a couple of jd's helps cheers steve

do they still have the same arc of distance accross the windscreen? ie: are they travveling an extra distance to go off the windscreen or are they not
covering as much windscreen and making up for it by going off the screen and then back to rest?

Windscreen wiper blades going off the screen, has nothing to do with the motor or the park positon!
Assuming you still have the standard installation with the original wiper linkage, it's likely to be wiper arms incorectly positioned on the wiper
spindles or just possibly, excessively long wiper blades.
