Help Wanted to a Family '58 Beetle

Hi Guys

I am seeking to locate a 58' Beetle which was owned by my father in law. The details he has provided me are as follows:

1958 Beetle. Originally Grey.
Rego number was BRJ 239 in NSW and then when he lived in Canberra the rego number was changed to 36 106

My father in law owned the Beetle from 1961 and traded it in 1964 for a Mazda...aaagh!! It had about 25000 miles on the clock when he bought it. It was likely that it had a roof rack when it was sold by the car yard to the next owner. Not sure if it was returned to another NSW number before it was traded in...perhaps....

He has very fond of the vehicle and I will get some prints of slides with this bug and post it onto AVD.

A very long shot but does anyone know if this beetle still survives in NSW....or wherever.

Thanks
