LMS had major engine problems a week or so ago. Destroyed most of it .Not good.

I spoke to Dave Stoker and it was not as bad as first thought.
Just needs a couple of replacement rods and he had spare barrels and pistons.
Also has a case, so it won't be long and he will be back out.
Heads survived un scathed.
Worst thing is the time it will take to machine it all up and reassemble.

We saw Mike run twice. First run was a high 9 and the second was 11 somthing with a bad start.

Cranky's first run was a 9.8 @ about 138 mph taking it very gently having never run the new configuaration.

Thinned out the fuel a little for second pass.

The power proved to be too much for even a kombi box with albins gears. First gear disintegrated. Mike tossed it into 2nd, hoping that it had only jumped out of gear. Finished the pass at 11 seconds after the diasterous start still at close to 140 mph.
