Accelerator pedal pin keeps coming out
The accelerator pedal pin keeps coming out of the hinge at the bottom of the pedal in my 1959 bug. What can I do to keep it in place?

You can buy a new kit for the later beetles but I am not sure about the early ones though. With mine, there is a wire that wraps around the pin and
there is a little cutout that it sits in. This helps to keep it in but you can also crimp the brackets on the floorpan a bit to tighten around the
pin once it is in position.
Good luck.
