If it werent for the radiator that thing'd rock!... altho one thing that would worry me about V8 conversions in buses.... the tank is only something like 50 litres in a bay... so one would have to hope there was a servo round every corner... I imagine a P76 donk would chew disgusting amounts of fuel. :duh

get a dirty great big tall 4th gear put in a 2l box and it's fine. rev em up and they chew it like no tomorrow.

a kombi is essentially a delivery van built to carry laods 1 ton + so if they handle( brake n corner) and are stable with a ton on board believe me they have no prob handling a v8 a long time ago i had the 4.4 in my splitty 4 wheel drums and never had a prob to be honest i rekon it handled better although it did have big tyres on it too

what about cornering dubbill ever give her a boot full and lose traction? i would of thought things would happen pretty quickly with the extra weight at the rear if one ventured side a ways.rob.
