Differences

Chris,
Shift rod lengths are different...match it to trans
Gearstick and stop plate...manual has first gear
Pedals:rolleyes: ...obvious
Yours doesn't have a clutch tube...you know that
No Clucth cable/bowden tube/adjuster
Gland nut...S-A is thinner
Flexplate vs Flywheel....don't get crude ripping it off
Clutch pressure plate, plate, TO bearing....
Oil pump is 3 rivet Flat Cam, not 4 dished....careful!!
Intake manifold (whoopee...plug it!)
Rear Tin has hole for oil line..plug it
A few more wires for the S-A...no big deal
Better starter motor in the S-A, use it in the manual
You may need lower engine studs. Check/Optional.

"Front" trans mount is different. S-A specific. Get a manual replacement. If your car is pre 74 (I think?) then rear (at bellhousing) are the same.

So long as you get an IRS manual box....nothing else. No drive shaft replacement, manual gearbox + mounts just drop in, rear trans bracket is the same.

The dudes on the samba have "stickied" one of the S-A to manual conversions...good info on the clutch tube in it.
BUT...they are LHD. The clutch tube exits the same place in the rear but I have no idea how it's hooked up internally on a RHD, or if there is anything "extra" you need at the pedals.

If I think of anything else I'll post up.
