Gen/Alt Strap
Here is a mod I made today to mount my alt, I used a 113-121 mm S/S hose clamp. Just a tip, I always find the mounting strap are pretty knocked around
from overtightening and in this case was sitiuated under the oil breather.

Thanks, this clamp is a Tridon. Mikador? make one identical to this. Not sure if the gen would use the same size but its ease to check

Hi
The factory clamp is the same for both 12 volt generator and alternator models. There is a bit of shape in the factory clamp, did you reproduce
it?

The "shape" will reproduce itself when you do these clamps up.These are a LOT stronger than the factory clamp and are easier to tighten and look
better...

Yes like Mick said they tend to shape them selves when you tighten them up but I gave it a helping hand with a soft hammer.
